Sheppey College

EKC Sheppey College, part of the East Kent College Group (EKC Group), is a further education provider situated on the Isle of Sheppey. Currently a significant proportion of students travel to Sittingbourne or neighbouring towns to access education opportunities currently unavailable to them.

Proposed

The extension to the college will allow for  increased educational opportunities for young people living within Swale, both on and off the island. This includes a broadened curriculum offer matched to local employment opportunities. The additional space will also provide community learning  possibilities, including adult education to improve literacy, numeracy and digital skills.

Progress

East Kent College Group have officially unveiled its new campus extension, boosting opportunities for young people across the Isle of Sheppey.

The new learning space significantly enhances the colleges capacit, facilities and the breadth of opportunities avaliavle for learners aged 14 to 19.
