Masters House

Masters House is a former council office located just off the high street in Sheerness. The main building has recently been refurbished to create new office space.

Charity, Launch It, who work with young adults (ages 18 - 30) to support the start up of new business ventures , has taken over the lease and are supporting young residents within Swale.

Proposed

Following works to the main building, phase 2 work will convert disused garage space to the rear of Masters House into usable workshop spaces.

Additional works will further improve the energy efficiency of Masters House, including the installation of solar panels to the roof of the main building.

Progress

Swale Borough Council has completed the transformation of garages at Masters House into dedicated business workshops.

The three modern, sustainably built, spaces have been created alongside a kitchenette and toilets as part of the council’s government funded Sheerness Revival project.

These workshops will provide a professional base for artists, makers, and craftspeople aged 18 to 30 to launch and grow their businesses.

They will be joining a thriving community of small businesses already based in the main Masters House building, which was refurbished following a £1.5 million council investment.
